The Safety Officer is the primary contact for matters specific to the child and the vulnerable in our care – such as matters in the child’s case plan or any unmet of emerging needs relating to the child in our care. A Child Safety Officer is responsible for providing statutory child protection services including assessment, intervention, casework and case management in accordance with legislation and practice guidelines. ‘Professional standards’ are the qualities essential for the ethical and safe practice of pastoral ministry.
