The Parish Liturgy Team assist the Priest in assessing and enhancing the liturgical life and experiences in the parish. With representation from the various Liturgical Ministries i.e. (Extra-ordinary Ministers, Altar Servers, Music Ministry, Sacristans)The Liturgy team tends to the fruitful soil of liturgical prayer so that the seeds of faith, and the faithful, may grow, as (1 Cor.3:8.9) says that “we may plant, but it is God who causes the growth…For we are God’s co-workers; you are God’s field, God’s building.” LITURGY means: “The work of the People”. The role as a Parish Liturgy Team is not simply to get people to join their hands for worship during mass, but to help them become the kinds of people who will use their hands for the good of others all through the week. We come together as a family of God in our Father’s presence to offer him praise and thanksgiving, to hear his holy word, to ask his forgiveness of our sins, and to seek his grace, that through his son Jesus Christ we may give ourselves to his service.
